Bailey Kelton was born and raised in the agriculture industry and brought up from Yerington, Nevada. Her passion runs deep with the cattle industry, particularly Purebred polled Herefords. She started showing heifers at the age of six and continued her career into 4-H and FFA. Outside these associations she continues to show through the American Hereford Association and The California Nevada Junior Hereford Association. Kelton currently is the Vice President and Princess of her association.

Kelton
enjoys FFA as well, were she was last year’s Nevada State FFA Secretary. She also represented Nevada at Nationals when she was the Nevada State Senior Beef Ambassador. Kelton is currently attending the University of Nevada Reno where she hopes to graduate next fall with her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science to become a ruminant nutritionist.

Kelton hopes to bring her background experience and knowledge to her new job as one of the new Nevada Farm Bureau Field Services Representative.
